Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO)

KRIBHCO was incorporated on April 17, 1980 as National Level Multistate Cooperative Society and is governed by Multistate Cooperative Society Act, 2002. KRIBHCO’s paid up capital as on March 31, 2016 is Rs. 389.29 crores. 

KRIBHCO has state-of-the art Fertilizer Complex based on natural gas at Hazira, District Surat, Gujarat consisting of two streams of Ammonia Plant and four streams of Urea Plant. The Fertilizer Complex has been revamped and post revamp the Urea and Ammonia annual production capacity has increased to 21.95 lakh MT and 12.47 lakh MT respectively. After Revamp, KRIBHCO has become the largest single location urea plant in India.

KRIBHCO has three Bio-fertilizer plants at Hazira (Gujarat), Lanja (Maharashtra) and Varanasi (UP) with combined annual capacity of 550 MT.

To provide high quality certified seeds to the farmers, KRIBHCO has set up fifteen Seed Processing Units (SPUs) in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar  and Gujarat with combined annual capacity of 3.10 lakh quintals . KRIBHCO also markets hybrid seeds.

KRIBHCO has been marketing its products only through cooperative societies and Institutional Agencies. KRIBHCO operates 64 outlets “KrishakBharatiSeva Kendra” to provide agri inputs and technical knowhow under single window concept. KRIBHCO regularly conducts Promotional and Educational programmes for the prosperity of farmers & rural community. KRIBHCO has established KrishiPramarsh Kendra at Noida for free services of complete soil testing of its micro & macro-nutrients.
